Ghislaine Maxwell has now been hit with additional charges, including sex trafficking minors for her former boyfriend, Jeffrey Epstein.
Another victim was added to the indictment in the criminal case against Maxwell, which was returned Monday. Allegations from the now-fourth victim have added a sex trafficking conspiracy and a sex trafficking charge to the indictment against 59-year-old Maxwell.
The new victim claims that she was sexually assaulted multiple times by Epstein between 2001 and 2004 at his home in Palm Beach, Florida. The girl says that she was 14 years old at the time. She revealed that Maxwell groomed her to engage in sex acts with Epstein by gifting her with hundreds of dollars and lingerie. Maxwell is said to have pushed the girl to recruit other teens to provide “sexualized massages” to the disgraced financier.
Maxwell remains in federal custody, where she has had her bail requests denied three times. She has pleaded not guilty to all charges against her. Epstein did not live long enough to face his charges. He committed suicide in August 2019 in a Manhattan federal jail.
