Gilbert Arenas might’ve just set a new record for post-bond energy. The former NBA star was arrested on federal charges tied to an alleged illegal poker ring being run out of his Encino mansion. But judging by his Instagram post, he’s not sweating it one bit.
In a now-viral video, Arenas is seen jogging down courthouse steps with full swagger, laughing and moving like he just finished a light workout. But it’s the caption that had social media in tears and confusion.
“I’m back on the block like it’s HOT. This ain’t got shyt to do with me. Just rented the house. Wasn’t apart of the festivities.”

He even added #SnitchingGilComingSOON and called himself the “Mayweather of court” with a bold 51‑0 record claim.
Authorities claim Arenas operated an illegal high-stakes poker business out of his home between 2021 and 2022. They allege servers, security, and even massage girls were hired to create a full-service gambling environment. Arenas was indicted for conspiracy, running the operation, and allegedly lying to federal investigators.
But Arenas insists he’s not the ringleader—just the guy leasing the venue.
