Gillie Da Kid’s son, YNG Cheese, was tragically killed in a triple shooting on Thursday night in Philadelphia’s Olney neighborhood.
According to a source verified by NBC10, the incident took place at 8:24 p.m. on the 5800 block of Mascher Street.
Cheese, 25, died at the hospital after being shot in the back. Two others, aged 28 and 31, were also shot but are currently in stable condition after being transported to the hospital.
According to NBC10, police stated that one of the victims ran to a nearby residence, and 10 shell casings were found at the scene.
Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small reported that an SUV was found at the corner of Mascher and Nedrow Streets with its engine still running. The vehicle is currently under investigation.
Late Thursday, Gillie’s cousin and Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast co-host, Wallo, confirmed the news on his Instagram.
“Lil Cuz usually when I talk to you, I got a lot to tell you,” Wallo wrote in his caption. “Tonight the pain in my heart & tears spoke to you. I love you beyond life Cheese. I got your father, Rest Well!”
As of now, there have been no arrests, and authorities haven’t found any weapons.
