Goodfellas actor Ray Liotta died at 67 while away in the Dominican Republic filming for “Dangerous Waters.”
According to sources close to the actor, he died in his sleep on the island. TMZ reports that his death was not suspicious and that no foul play is suspected.
His fiancé, Jacy Nittolo, was with him in the DR while working on the film.
Liotta is best recognized for his performance as mobster Henry Hill in Martin Scorsese’s 1990 masterpiece “Goodfellas,” opposite Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci.
He co-starred with Kevin Costner in another legendary classic, “Field of Dreams,” where he played Shoeless Joe Jackson.
Ray went on to play in other legendary films, such as Ray went on to star in several other movies, including “Cop Land,” “Corrina Corrina,” “Operation Dumbo Drop,” “Unforgettable,” “Wild Hogs,” and “Blow.”
During Christmas 2020, Ray and Lacy announced that they were engaged on Instagram.
Karsen Liotta, his daughter from his former marriage to Michelle Grace, is his only child.
