Halle Bailey and DDG are seemingly entering a peaceful place in their co-parenting relationship.
The two have decided to dismiss their respective domestic violence restraining order requests, a move signaling a shift toward cooperation. In court documents signed by both parties and approved by a judge, they also agreed to a temporary custody arrangement for their one-year-old son, Halo.
The agreement grants DDG custody on Wednesdays and specific weekends, with both parents working out a shared holiday schedule, starting with Halloween.
Both artists also agreed not to publicly disparage each other or post images of Halo on social media, a point of past conflict.
DDG previously extended an olive branch to Halle through his song “17 More Years,” where he praised her parenting and expressed a desire to avoid further disputes.
Though they’ve reserved the right to revisit the DV claims if needed, this agreement appears to be a major step forward.
