A judge in Los Angeles has issued a temporary restraining order in favor of Halle Bailey, requiring her ex-boyfriend DDG to stay away from her and their son, Halo.
The order will remain in place until a court hearing on June 6.
In court documents, Bailey, detailed a series of alleged abusive incidents involving DDG.
She said the abuse, physical, emotional, verbal, and financial, took place throughout their relationship and continued even after they ended things in October 2024. She reported that DDG’s behavior made her fear for both her own safety and the safety of their child.
Bailey also claimed the YouTuber has been using his social media platforms to target her, accusing her of denying him access to their son and being involved with other men. She said those posts led to online harassment and threats from his followers.
The restraining order also bans DDG from owning or having access to weapons. The judge will decide at next month’s hearing whether to make the order long-term, which could last up to five years.
Although DDG has yet to publicly respond to the accusations, his mother, Tonya Granberry, appeared to acknowledge the situation in a recent Instagram post.
Without naming Bailey or her grandson, she posted: “I don’t usually comment or say anything on this internet even with all the negativity, the lies and hatred towards mine. However these accusations have made me realize that I have been quiet too long.”
