Halle Berry is still upset with Drake for using a photo of her getting slimed on in 2012 as the cover art for his new single, ‘Slime You Out.’
Initially, she says Drake asked for permission, but she refused.
On Friday, Berry expressed her disappointment in a post shared to her Instagram, “Sometimes you have to be the bigger guy … even if you’re a woman!” Though she did not explicitly name Drake, many interpreted that he is who she was referring to.
When asked about her thoughts on Drake using the photo for promo, she responded.
“Didn’t get my permission,” she replied to a user. “That’s not cool. I thought better of him!”
She further addressed the situation with the Canadian rapper, adding, “When people you admire disappoint you you have to be the bigger person and move on!”
In another comment she clarified why she was upset when she doesn’t own rights to the photo.
“Cuz he asked me and i said NO that’s why. Why ask if you intend to do what you want to do ! That was the f— you to me. Not cool,” wrote Berry in reply. “You get it?”
So far, Drake has not responded to the alleged feud, but on Saturday, he posted a photo of himself with his back to the camera in a T-shirt that read, “What the hell is going on?”
“literally tho…” read the caption of the photo.
