Singer HER showed her mom some ballerific love this Mother’s Day season, gifting her a brand new Mercedes G-Wagon.
On Tuesday, the Grammy-award-winning vocalist shared a heartwarming Instagram Reel showing her mother, Agnes Wilson, reacting to her new lavish SUV. Wilson walks into a showroom blindfolded. Once it is removed, HER is heard in the background shouting, “TA-DA!” Wilson exclaims, “Oh my God!” before checking out her Mercedes-Benz G-Class. The camera follows Wilson as she walks around the truck, inspecting the fancy whip, becoming overcome with emotions at the grand gesture. Towards the end of the clip, Wilson breaks down in tears as HER consoles her mom, who is eventually seen smiling in the driver’s seat.
The beautiful moment was met with a caption praising her mom for being such a supportive figure in her life.
“Seeing my mom happy is the greatest gift I could ever receive. She works sooo hard she deserves the entire universe,” the 25-year-old wrote.
HER, whose real name is Gabriella Sarmiento Wilson, has always displayed her love for her mother. In April 2021, she walked the Oscars red carpet with a proud Wilson. That was a big year for HER, who was nominated for Best Original Song for “Fight For You,” which was featured in “Judas and the Black Messiah.” She won this award, and during her acceptance speech, HER thanked both of her parents as Wilson cheered and cried from her seat.
As for the ticket on the G-Wagon, they typically start at around $139,000. That’s a big baller move HER!
