As part of its lawsuit against JPMorgan Chase, the US Virgin Islands have subpoenaed Elon Musk for documents related to Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse.

According to the lawsuit, Epstein may have recommended JPMorgan to Musk. However, the US Virgin Islands did not provide any further explanation for its desire to obtain documents from Musk.

JPMorgan is accused of being blind to the signs that Epstein was abusing women on Little St. James, a private island in the US Virgin Islands.

But, the financial institution has argued that it’s not responsible for the relationship between a former top executive and Epstein.

According to the subpoena, all communications between JPMorgan and Musk regarding Epstein and communications between Musk and Epstein will need to be turned over.

The subpoena also requested copies of all documents about any fees Musk paid to Epstein or JPMorgan in connection with his accounts or business dealings with the bank.

Additionally, it demanded that Musk provide any records that might show evidence of Epstein’s involvement in human trafficking or the recruitment of young women for commercial sex.

Earlier this month, Larry Page, a Co-founder of Google, was also served as part of the same litigation.
