Hot Pockets is getting heated with a collaboration with Hot Ones.
Thanks to the First We Feast YouTube channel, the stuffed sandwich is getting a makeover. If you’re unfamiliar with the platform, it houses the hilarious Hot Ones series that showcases celebrities tasting its scorching dressings on chicken wings. Its guests include Steph Curry, Jennifer Lawrence, Shaquille O’Neal, and Lizzo, to name a few. Now, the channel is stuffing its spicy condiments into the microwaveable turnover.
Hot Pockets Hot Ones will be available in four steamy flavors: Spicy Garlic Chicken and Bacon, made with the Classic Garlic Fresno condiment; Smoky Green Chile Cheesesteak, which is filled with the Los Calientes Verdes sauce; Hot Habanero Sausage and Pepperoni, which has the Los Calientes Rojo sauce, and lastly, the Fiery Hot Pepperoni, which uses one of Hot Ones most devilish relishes, known as the Last Dab. The company promises the latter flavor will be its “hottest pockets ever.”
Each box of the Hot Pockets Hot Ones has numbers printed on them indicating just how spicy they are. For instance, the Fiery Hot Pepperoni holds a 10/10 score for its spiciness. The Spicy Garlic Chicken and Bacon seems to be the mildest flavor in the lineup, with a 2/10.
For foodies who aren’t particularly fond of the meaty calzone-inspired dish or decide they need extra sauce for their Hot Pockets, the flavorings can be purchased individually at the Heatonist website for other meals.
The limited edition Hot Pocket will debut this month in stores nationwide. However, the Fiery Hot Pepperoni will be on sale exclusively on the delivery app, Gopuff, though it’s unknown if they will be shipped only to certain areas.
