Housewives Mess: Shamea Morton and Porsha Williams’ Friendship Falls Apart and It’s Not Pretty [Video]

During Sunday’s episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” titled “Meditation and Mediation,” fans finally witnessed the imminent fallout between Shamea Morton and Porsha Williams and it was brutal to watch.

Ahead of the climactic confrontation, Porsha and Shamea appeared to be on good terms as they indulged in some shady dealings. The pair met up with Ralph Pittman, Drew Sidora’s estranged husband. Shamea framed the dinner as a business meeting of sorts to discuss Ralph’s podcast idea. However, inviting Porsha, who has feuded with Drew all season, came across as a dig to many viewers. When Porsha began spilling tea about Drew allegedly trying to sleep with her baby daddy, Dennis McKinley, the notion of an innocent link-up quickly dissipated. Ralph also used the opportunity to gossip with his wife’s opp, claiming that she cheated on him with former WNBA star Ty Young. Sadly, Shamea and Porsha’s messy bliss wouldn’t last long.

Angela Oakley gave viewers a glimpse into her real estate portfolio and hosted Porsha at one of her rental properties for a game of tennis. During the visit, Angela dished that Shamea was still hurt Porsha didn’t attend her wedding and felt let down by her bestie of 20 years. Porsha appeared emotional, setting the tone for her Pamped by Porsha event.

As Porsha rallied the women for a day of relaxation with her new bedding line, the long-unresolved issues between her and Shamea came to a head. The latter explained that her ride-or-die energy was never reciprocated. However, it quickly became a game of he-said-she-said as both women began regurgitating what the other had told castmates about their dwindling friendship. They also revisited Porsha skipping Shamea’s wedding, which she initially blamed on medical reasons but now attributes to them not speaking at the time. This was news to Shamea, who seemingly had no idea the pair were on bad terms. The conversation ended with a pile of new issues for the duo, which will seemingly linger for the rest of the season.

After episode 10 aired, Shamea couldn’t stop the waterworks during “Watch What Happens Live” as she discussed the breakdown of her friendship. Only time will tell if the two can heal their two decades long bond, though it likely won’t be fixed anytime soon.
