Weis Quality Cookies and Cream Ice Cream and Klein’s Vanilla Dairy Ice Cream is being recalled after a customer found a piece of metal in their ice cream.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced that 10,869 containers of the 48 ounces of Weis Quality Cookies and Cream Ice Cream and 3-gallon containers of Klien’s Vanilla Dairy Ice Cream is being recalled.
Weis Quality Cookies and Cream Ice Cream have been discontinued in Weis Market’s stores in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennslyvania, West Virginia, and Virginia.
The Universal Product Code (UPC) is 041497-01253, and the sell-by date is 10/28/21.
The 3-gallon Klein’s Vanilla Dairy Ice Cream code stamp is 0302 and was only sold to one retail store in New York. The ice cream has been removed from the shelves.
