Adolfo Quiñones, a respected actor and breakdancer also known as Shabba-Doo has died at the age of 65.
Quiñones, who started off in a dance group called “The Lockers,” danced his way up to fame in the 1980s, appearing in dance films like “Breakin'” and “Breakin 2: Electric Boogaloo.”
As a choreographer, he worked with Madonna, Luther Vandross, Lionel Richie, and Three Six Mafia.
In 1993, he co-wrote the musical “Rave, Dancing to a Different Beat.”
The cause of death is unknown but he posted on his Instagram that he was sluggish from his cold but tested negative for Covid-19.
He is survived by his son and daughter.
