The Los Angeles Police Department is officially looking into Megan Thee Stallion’s assault with a deadly weapon allegations, and #ToryLanez is their primary suspect.
Police told TMZ that investigators opened an assault with a deadly weapon investigation into the events that took place Sunday morning that led to our favorite Hot Girl getting shot in the foot. The incident happened shortly before the police pulled over an SUV Megan and Tory were being driven in.
Sources connected through the investigation claim Tory shot Megan in the foot after having a heated argument in the SUV. Tory was arrested and booked for possession of a concealed weapon after a handgun that was found in the SUV. Now that the matter has been amended to a deadly weapon case, new charges may be applied to the Canadian rapper.
While no information has confirmed Lanez as the shooter, investigators have named him their primary suspect. Sources say that Lanez may claim the incident to have been an accident. At this time, police say witnesses are refusing to cooperate, which is making it difficult to prosecute Lanez, TMZ reports.
