Japanese Man Steals More Than 700 Pieces Of Women’s Underwear

A man has been arrested for stealing more than 700 pieces of women’s underwear.

They call Trey Songz the panty-dropper but meet the panty-nabber in 56-year-old Tetsuo Urata of Japan. According to local outlet Abema TV, police arrested Urata last week after they found his collection of stolen female underwear in his apartment in the southern Japanese city of Beppu.

The police were able to catch him after a 21-year-old female college student spotted him stealing six pairs of her underwear from a laundromat on Aug 24. A week later, police caught up with him at his apartment, where they found his stash of 730 bras and panties. He didn’t fight it; Urata fessed up to taking the drawers.

There are no details of when the panties were taken or how many laundromats he hit up to get them. “We haven’t confiscated such a large number of panties in years,” a police spokesman told Abema TV, The New York Post reports.
