Beauty influencer Jeffree Star has once again placed James Charles in the hot seat, making serious accusations during a recent appearance on Tana Mongeau’s ‘Cancelled’ podcast. Star alleged that Charles, now 24, used his fame and financial status to exert pressure on a 19-year-old. According to Star, Charles invited the young man to a hotel room and, upon hesitation, allegedly responded, “I paid for this room,” implying expectations in return.
These allegations echo the drama that first erupted in 2019, when fellow beauty influencer Tati Westbrook accused Charles of inappropriate advances toward younger men in her viral video. Star hinted that Westbrook’s video aimed to “teach him a lesson” and suggested there was more to the story than the public was led to believe.
The renewed claims quickly lit up social media, with many users weighing in. While some supported Star’s statements, others pointed out that he himself has faced accusations of inappropriate behavior in the past. The back-and-forth, highlighted by Drama Alert on Twitter, has once again stirred debates about accountability, power dynamics, and responsibility within the beauty influencer community.
As of now, James Charles has not publicly addressed Star’s recent remarks.
