Jessie Woo is speaking out to clarify the “revenge baby” comment about Cardi B, making it clear that those were not her words at all.

After offering an in-depth explanation on her YouTube channel Thursday night, the media personality spoke exclusively with Baller Alert to clear up confusion about the remark that has since gone viral and prompted a fast response from the rapper herself. According to Jessie, she was reading comments on her livestream that came through via YouTube’s Super Chat feature.
“It’s clear that I was reading off two comments back to back,” she explained, clarifying that it was a viewer who made the “revenge baby” remark, which Jessie read aloud. This was followed by another commenter, who wrote, “I agree,” before referring to Cardi as a “bird brain.” This remark was also read by Jessie during the livestream, which has now been mistaken for her own beliefs.
The former “Love and Hip-Hop: Miami” star explained that the text message shared by Cardi was the only topic she aimed to cover during the livestream. In case you missed the now-deleted tweet, the “Bodak Yellow” star shared a text from the woman accusing Stefon Diggs of assault, a move that many saw as victim intimidation.
“The point of the live that I was having was to talk about the fact that she was using her platform to intimidate the chef that came forward to say that Stefon Diggs strangled her. And in order to gaslight that, and in order to deflect from that, she used her platform to lie on me and to say that I was saying all these things about her,” she stated.
After the “revenge baby” remark went viral without context, Cardi B fired back, accusing Jessie of being the mastermind behind the nasty remark and referring to her as a “hating a** b***h.” Unfortunately, this has led to days of hateful bullying toward Jessie across social media, from people leaving threatening comments on her posts to full-on Twitter rants from Bardi Gang members calling her out for words that were not hers.
As of Friday, Cardi B has not responded publicly to Jessie’s explanation video.
