Jhené Aiko is taking her angelic vocals to the Super Bowl, where she will be singing “America the Beautiful” before the Los Angeles Rams go head-to-head against the Cincinnati Bengals.
This year’s big game will welcome many key players in music, including gospel icons Mary Mary, who will sing “Lift Every Voice and Sing” with the Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles during a pre-game performance. Country music staple Mickey Guyton is slated to sing the National Anthem. The player warm-ups will even have their own entertainment, with Zedd serving as the DJ during that segment.
This year’s half-time show is the most anticipated in years, with Mary J. Blige, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, and Kendrick Lamar set to hit the stage.
Aiko took to Instagram to share the news of her performance. She posted a flyer featuring herself with the caption, “Super Bowl Bound!!!”
Super Bowl LVI and the star-studded shows will take place on February 13th at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
