Jim Jones Clashes with Shannon Sharpe on “Nightcap,” Claims He’s Using Rap to Get “Hot” [Video]

Jim Jones isn’t backing down from his bold claim that he’s rapping better than Nas these days. He stood on business while appearing on Shannon Sharpe and Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson’s “Nightcap” podcast, but Unc wasn’t about to let that slide.

“I’m can sing more Nas records than you right now!” Jones fired off at Sharpe, defending his earlier hot take. Then, turning to Chad, he added, “He don’t even know about rap, he’s just doing it for the views to get Jim Jones on here and get him hot.”

That one hit a nerve.

“Get him hot? You better check the podcast space,” Sharpe clapped back. “This the biggest podcast you ever been on!”

Even when Jones tried to switch it up by asking for a Nas track name, Sharpe stayed on his neck. “You not on that level yet, bro,” he told Jones, tossing in, “You might can out rap me, but you can’t out talk me!”

Jones eventually gave Sharpe props, but not before making it clear that no one cares about his viral “Club Shay Shay” podcast.

This all started when Jim claimed on the “Joe and Jada” podcast that he’s got more Billboard hits than Nas and connects better with today’s fans, something Sharpe clearly had an issue with.
