Jimmy Henchman Found Guilty Again For 2009 Murder-For-Hire Plot

James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond has been found guilty, once again, for hiring a hitman to kill Lowell “Lodi Mack” Fletcher, a affiliate of rapper, 50 Cent.

According to reports, Rosemond has long maintained that his plan was not to kill Fletcher back in 2009; he says he hired men to fire shots at Fletcher for roughing up his teenage son during a beef between G-Unit and The Game. However, prosecutors proved otherwise, presenting a slew of witnesses to support their argument that the former entertainment manager ordered the hit.

In turn, Rosemond’s lawyers argued that the witnesses, including Brian “Slim” McCleod, who said he helped lure the victim to the isolated area to be killed, were only speaking in court to reduce their time behind bars. “There is absolutely no physical evidence in this case that proves Jimmy intended Lowell Fletcher to be killed instead of shot at,” Rosemond’s lawyer said.

However, according to the NY Post, in Rosemond’s third trial over the hit after the first ended in a hung jury and the federal appeals court ordered a new trial after the second trial’s conviction, a Manhattan federal jury convicted Rosemond on four counts of murder for hire.

The NY Post reports, Rosemond’s lawyers plan to appeal the sentence, however, the former manager was already serving two life sentences for separate drug and gun convictions.
