Joey Bada$$ and actress-singer Serayah are preparing to welcome their first child together—a baby boy.
The couple first shared their pregnancy news in February, and now they’ve confirmed it’s a boy. This will be Serayah’s first child and Joey’s second, as he already has a 7-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
Serayah, glowing and nearly full-term, told ESSENCE, “I’m great, honestly. At the finish line.”
Joey and Serayah first crossed paths in 2021 at a mutual friend’s birthday party, but the energy between them didn’t fade—even after a year. By March 2023, dating rumors turned real, and they’ve been going strong ever since.
Joey, known for being publicly polyamorous in the past, said Serayah changed his entire outlook on love and relationships.
“I was very much living a bachelor lifestyle,” he admitted. “But I met Ray, I bought a home, and everything shifted. I’m very much monogamous now.”
He was drawn to her from the very beginning, calling her “strikingly gorgeous” and “radiating with aura,” while Serayah described him as “the most mysterious person I’ve ever met.”
