While Julia Fox said she’s grateful for her relationship with Kanye West, she also adds that she lost 15 pounds while dating him.
The New York Times recently caught up with Fox and asked about her short-lived fling with Kanye. The couple did not last more than a month, but Julia says she tried to maintain the relationship but lost weight while doing so.
“I tried my best to make it work,” Fox says. “I already had a jam-packed life. How do I fit this really big personality into this already full life? It just wasn’t sustainable. I lost like 15 pounds in that month.”
Many people considered their relationship to be a publicity stunt to taunt Kim Kardashian. However, Julia says there were “elements” of their romance that were real despite feeling “cast” as his girlfriend.
“It definitely felt like I was his girlfriend,” Julia added. “But it also felt like I was being cast in the role of his girlfriend and he was casting me. He was the orchestrator of it all. It really did feel like a movie.”
Julia announced on Valentine’s Day that the two ended their brief relationship. Nevertheless, Julia makes it clear that she’s moved on and isn’t concerned with what Ye’s doing now.
Lately, Kanye has been extremely vocal on social media about rekindling the spark he once had with ex-wife Kim Kardashian. In addition, he also hasn’t shied away from slandering Kim’s new boo, Pete Davidson.
Nevertheless, Julia says she’s not worried about getting the same kind of treatment as Pete.
“I don’t think that he would want to open that door with me. If you come for me, I’m going to come for you. And I’m really good at coming for people. I just go straight for the jugular. I don’t think he would be dumb enough to do that,” she said.
