Justin Bieber is clearing the air after fans discovered that he was no longer following his wife, Hailey Bieber, on Instagram, sparking speculation about their relationship. The sudden unfollow had fans in an uproar, but Justin took to his Instagram Story on Tuesday to explain the situation, claiming it wasn’t intentional.
In a now-deleted post, the “Peaches” singer wrote, “Someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife. Shit is getting suss out here.” While Justin didn’t elaborate further, the comment hinted at unauthorized activity on his account.
Before Justin addressed the rumors, fans flooded social media with their reactions. Some questioned the state of the couple’s marriage, with one user on X (formerly Twitter) asking, “DID THEY SEPARATE?”.
Many, however, pointed out signs that Justin and Hailey’s relationship remains strong. Over the weekend, Justin shared a black-and-white photo of Hailey on his Instagram Story, calling her “the greatest woman I have and will ever know.” Additionally, the couple was spotted last week enjoying a winter getaway in Aspen, Colorado, looking happy and relaxed.
This isn’t the first time the Biebers have had to deal with speculation about their relationship. In December, Hailey addressed rumors of marital trouble in a lighthearted Instagram Story, sharing a video clip of a man saying, “People on the internet are not well, and it’s OK.”
