Kanye West unleashed some deep-rooted feelings about his family situation on Pusha T’s latest project, “It’s Almost Dry.”

The “All Falls Down” rapper left it all in the booth, spitting several guest verses on Pusha’s album detailing his thoughts on his failed marriage to Kim Kardashian and living separately from their four children. On track three, appropriately titled “Dreamin Of The Past,” Ye speaks about wanting to keep the peace with Kim K in front of their children.

“I ain’t come to pick up the kids to pick a fight,” Ye raps.

“Rock N Roll” offers his insight on keeping the family together by any means necessary. Ye has been vocal about the importance of his children being raised in the same home as him. He has also slammed his ex for disrespecting him as a father by allowing their daughter North to use TikTok despite his opposition.

“Born in the manger, the son of a stranger … When daddy’s not home, the family’s in danger,” he spits on track seven.

These lyrics are not the first of their kind from Yeezy, though they are much more subdued. He previously expressed a much darker take on the breakup in the track “Eazy,” where he threatened Kardashian’s new man, Pete Davidson.

Aside from his appearance on Pusha’s album and Fivio Foreign’s recent release, Kanye West has been relatively quiet, reportedly working on his mental and emotional health following the highly publicized divorce.
