Ye is back in the headlines for rehashing his tension with Jay-Z. This time, he says remorse is creeping into his dreams.
“All my dreams have been about apologizing to Jay Z,” Ye tweeted on Saturday, reflecting on controversial past comments. However, it appears that the producer quickly deleted the message after it went viral.
Earlier this year, he shocked fans with an offensive post about Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s younger kids, saying, “They’re retarded…Having retarded children is a choice.”
Though Ye offered a half-apology, tweeting “I’m sorry Jay Z,” he quickly backtracked with more shade, adding, “Do Beyoncé ever let Jay get p***y? I mean like at least a couple times.”
Later, on DJ Akademiks’ platform, Ye blamed Jay-Z and Beyoncé for not supporting him during family struggles, accusing them of prioritizing politics and distance over friendship.
“I never had family out here,” he said. “F**k him!”
In recent days, Ye also admitted to missing Pusha T, who was formerly signed to his G.O.O.D. Music label. It’s unclear if the Chicago native has reached out to his ex-friends to make amends.
