Kanye West is opening up about his controversial Grammy night, accusing the organizers of giving him the runaround about attending the ceremony.
The rapper revealed early Saturday morning that despite being nominated for his joint album with Ty Dolla Sign, “Vultures,” he had to scramble for tickets.
“How could the Grammies nominate me then not give tickets?” he tweeted. “And then people mad when I go off. I had to fight for 5 hours and call everyone I knew to get tickets to the Grammies. They eventually gave me tickets but only for the red carpet. At that point, I hadn’t started the rampage.”
“The rampage” may refer to his wife Bianca Censori going nearly nude on the red carpet before the couple quickly left the event. While some outlets reported that the couple were asked to leave, others refuted this, claiming they made their exit voluntarily. Following the viral moment, Ye went on a hate-fueled Twitter rant, calling out Jewish people, and overweight people, and showing support for Diddy.
Since Grammy night, more rumors have swirled that Ye and Censori are headed toward divorce. However, their reps have denied these claims.
