Kanye West has made an enemy, and it’s his former bodyguard.
Steve Stanulis is now calling the rapper a “bully” and the “neediest, moodiest client” he’s ever had, according to Page Six.
Stanulis is also threatening to sue Kanye for damages after the rapper accused him of breaking a confidentiality agreement when he spoke out about what it was like protecting the star back in May.
Kanye’s lawyers issued a cease and desist notice to Stanulis in June and threatened to sue him for $10million if he continued to spill the beans about his former boss. Kim Kardashian’s signature was also included in the letter.
The cease and desist letter claimed Stanulis made “false and defamatory” statements when he appeared on the “Hollywood Raw” podcast and said he violated the confidentiality agreement he signed in 2016.
However, Stanulis’ lawyer has now responded, claiming he never signed an agreement, according to Page Six.
In a statement to the publication, Stanulis’ attorney Dmitriy Shakhnevich said, “Our client is being bullied here, and we will not stand for that.”
Stanulis added, “I’m not going to let Kanye West and [Kim] push me around just because they are rich and famous. I won’t be intimidated by these two egotists!”
He said he’s now developing a new movie about his experiences serving as a bodyguard to A-listers.
“So if Kanye and Kim want to go to war, bring it on — they aren’t the only ones with a strong legal team,” he said.
