Kanye West’s retirement from music turned out to be short-lived drama.
After a brief moment of uncertainty, it seems Ye is back in action, and it’s all thanks to Rich the Kid’s upcoming album, Life’s a Gamble.
On Tuesday, social media buzzed with news of Kanye allegedly retiring from “professional music.”
In a text exchange shared by Rich the Kid, Kanye hinted at his uncertainty about his future in the music industry. Fast forward to today, and it appears it was all part of a stunt to build hype around Life’s a Gamble.
“ACTUALLY WE DROPPING FRIDAY,” Rich The Kid announced, revealing that Ye is not only featured on the album but he’s also playing a big role in its production.
On the album, he is on “Gimme a Second 2” alongside Ty Dolla $ign and Peso Pluma and on the track “Carnival,” a single from Vultures 1.
Despite the initial retirement scare, his fans can rest assured that Ye isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
Stay tuned for Friday’s drop!
