In the latest episode of the ongoing rap feud, Kendrick Lamar has released a fiery diss track targeting Drake. The track, titled “Not Like Us,” is Lamar’s third release aimed at Drake in under 48 hours, escalating the tension between the two.
Among various allegations, Lamar accuses Drake of serious misconduct, including relationships with convicted individuals and inappropriate behavior. However, one of the more personal accusations involves Drake’s relationship with Lil Wayne’s girlfriend while Wayne was incarcerated.
Lamar’s lyrics in “Not Like Us” don’t hold back, stating, “Fucked on Wayne’s girl while he was in jail, that’s conniving / Then get his face tatted like a bitch, apologizing.” This reference is corroborated by Lil Wayne himself, who has spoken openly about the incident. Wayne shared that during a visit to Rikers Island, where he was serving time for weapon possession, Drake confessed to the act. This story was detailed in Wayne’s 2016 memoir, “Gone ‘Til November.”
Although the betrayal occurred before Wayne and the woman were officially together, Wayne expressed that it was still deeply painful, stating, “As a man, honestly, that shit hurt…and not because it was Drake. It could’ve been any man and it would’ve hurt the same. She said it happened way before we got together, but she just never told me.”
