Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, has been ordered to complete up to 120 days on home arrest over his remarks about Offset.
Petty faces up to 4 months of house arrest, monitored possibly through a GPS ankle bracelet, as per a judge’s order.
“Mr. Petty was recorded on video making threatening remarks towards a specific individual while in the company of someone with a criminal record. This recent violation conduct raises concerns over Mr. Petty’s willingness to comply with the Court’s orders,” said Judge Michael W. Fitzgerald.
It’s unclear why Petty brought up Offset on social media. But, an associate tagged Cardi B in several Instagram posts, that read: “@iamcardib we ain’t ya average Queens n****as Big Dawg shit.”
In another viral video, Petty claimed to be looking for Offset and threatened that he’d be “planning your funeral” soon.
Petty then took things to another level when he mentioned Takeoff.
“Use that money to get dem n*ggaz that killed ya partner my g datz gangster. … If n*gga would’ve killed my n*gga I would’ve killed everything moving datz facts everybody getting parked.”
Offset, on the other hand, just laughed it off, saying, “These n*ggas broke. We hopping off jets, bitch, y’all n*ggas standing outside.”
An LA federal judge has ordered Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, to serve “up to” 120 days on home detention for “making threatening remarks toward a specific individual while in the company of someone with a criminal record.”
