Kenya Moore and Marc Daly have finalized their divorce.
In an exclusive statement to PEOPLE, the 52-year-old Moore shared details about the private mediation.
“After more than three years of litigation, I have finally been granted a divorce,” Moore said. “I want to thank everyone who prayed for and uplifted me when I needed it the most.”
She added, “I’m excited for this next chapter in my life and being the best mom I can be for my daughter, Brooklyn. As a hopeless romantic, I still believe my forever person exists and know I’ll have my happily ever after ending after all.”
Earlier this year on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Moore revealed that she had begun to view their separation as “the world’s longest divorce,” given the initial filing in May 2021. Just days afterward, she acknowledged the unfortunate fact that she and Daly had not signed a prenuptial agreement before getting married.
During the Season 14 reunion of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Moore confirmed that she was “still not divorced.” She clarified that the delay in finalizing the divorce was unrelated to alimony or child support matters. Even though she was still legally married, Moore expressed that her pending divorce had not hindered her from moving on and meeting someone new. She maintained this sentiment over a year later at BravoCon 2023.
Moore and Daly tied the knot in June 2017 and joyfully welcomed their daughter, Brooklyn, in November 2018. However, their relationship experienced its initial separation in September 2019. Although they briefly appeared to reconcile their romance in February 2020, Daly officially confirmed in January 2021 that the couple had separated again.
