Kevin Hunter called the police on his soon-to-be ex-wife #WendyWilliams last Saturday after she showed up without notice at their Livingston home in New Jersey with a moving truck.
Page Six reports that Williams has moved out of her sober living facility and is signing a lease on a New York City apartment, but before she moves in, she wanted to pick up her belongings from her former home with Hunter. It seems Hunter wasn’t ready for her to leave, as he reportedly “demanded the items be left alone” and told the moving company to leave.
Williams’ friend Ronald Clinton was at the scene to “keep the peace,” between the estranged couple. The police and Clinton teamed up to help Williams and Hunter come to a compromise: Williams would take her clothing, personal paintings, and her spare room furniture. “Mr. and Mrs. Hunter mutually agreed to these terms, and further agreed that the remaining furnishings were to be undisturbed, inventoried, and valued at a later date,” the report reads.
Williams and Hunter’s son was in attendance during the dispute. He also was “involved” in the decision-making process over the belongings. All parties were reportedly “satisfied.” Williams filed for divorce from Hunter almost two weeks ago. The two were married for 23 years.
