Keyshia Ka’oir Says Husband Gucci Mane “Can’t Function” Without Her [Video]

In a recent sit-down with Carlos King, Keyshia Ka’oir didn’t hold back when it came to discussing her marriage to rapper Gucci Mane.

The entrepreneur, known for her beauty line and sharp business mindset, opened up about her role as a wife and why she willingly handles everything behind the scenes.

“I treat Gucci so good,” she told Carlos. “Like, I know I said this when he first came out — I would bathe him and whatever. I don’t bathe him no more. But I used to bathe him. Now I still cook for him. Only thing Gucci got to do is shower. He don’t got to do nothing else.”

Ka’oir has always stood by her man, especially during his prison sentence, when she famously helped manage his finances and turned his brand into a multimillion-dollar empire. But for her, this isn’t about obligation.

“I do everything for that man, but not because I have to, though. I want to. I enjoy taking care of him. I enjoy him just being happy, going to the studio and doing music,” she explained. “I don’t want him to worry about the bills, worry about what he got to eat, worry about nothing. That man, all he got to do is bathe, child, and go do his shows and go to the studio. That is it. The wife takes care of everything else. And I love doing it.”

Keyshia didn’t stop there. She went on to say that her happiness is tied to her ability to care for Gucci herself.

“I would be miserable,” she admitted. ‘Cause I want to take care of my man. I don’t want nobody else to do it. I don’t want you to pay so-and-so to do this — a chef. I cook for him. I buy his clothes. I do everything. And I want to keep the money at home.”

According to her, being hands-on with her husband and their finances is a choice — and a strategic one. She ended with a statement that made it clear just how deep their bond runs.

“The thing is, when you have a man, you want that man to need you, not want you. And Gucci needs me. He can’t function without me. And that’s what you want in a relationship,” she stated.
