The devil works hard, but Fashion Nova definitely works harder.
We’ve seen this situation unfold before, when celebrities, like Kim Kardashian, posts pictures in new luxurious looks and then unexpectedly it’s available for purchase online as a fake version that won’t break your pockets. Fashion Nova has been the perpetrator multiple times, and now Kim has spoken up on the issue in several tweets.
Her comments were shared after wearing a revealing dress this past weekend at the Hollywood Beauty Awards, and now Fashion Nova has the same dress on a waitlist for customers to purchase.
“It’s devastating to see these fashion companies rip off designs that have taken the blood, sweat, and tears of true designers who have put their all into their own original ideas,” Kim wrote, in great details about how she will not be silent towards businesses that make money off Kanye West’s designs.
“Only two days ago, I was privileged enough to wear a one-of-a-kind vintage Mugler dress, and in less than 24 hours it was knocked off and thrown up on a site – but it’s not for sale. You have to sign up for a waitlist because the dress hasn’t even been made to sell yet,” she continued.
Even though Kim is stating that she will remove herself from the company, at a time her mom Kris and sister Kylie have associated themselves with Fashion Nova, with fashion ads on their own pages.
