Kim Kardashian-West recently sat down with Australian outlet, The Sunday Project, to open up about her blossoming family as well as parenting with Kanye.
When speaking about how she keeps her children grounded, Kim says, it’s all a matter of teaching her little ones to be respectful of all people.
“No matter what you’re given and no matter what you have, you have to treat people with respect. I do the best I can, and I really do believe my children are well adjusted and know they are blessed, but understand to be really compassionate.” She doted over her adorable children, calling them “really good people.” She and Kanye welcomed their newest addition Psalm via surrogate seven months ago, joining 1-year-old Chicago, 4-year-old Saint, and 6-year-old North.
The 39-year-old reality tv mogul also went on to explain how she stood behind her husband’s decision to ban their daughter, North, from wearing makeup until she is older.
“I don’t think a kid should really be wearing makeup, either,” Kardashian West reiterated . “I think sometimes if you don’t understand a rule, it’s good to learn and ask your friends — and in my case, my siblings — what they would do, bounce ideas around and develop a way we’re gonna parent and rules we have.”
“And we always have to stay aligned,” she added in regards to she and Kanye parenting their children together.
The couple’s parenting has been documented on the long-running hit reality show “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” where Kanye has been scrutinized recently regarding his strict religious views and bans of various things from makeup to Kim dressing too sexy.
