Reality star and social media influencer Ariana Biermann, daughter of Kim Zolciak-Biermann, was arrested for DUI Saturday in Forsyth County, Georgia.
Ariana, 20, was charged with the misdemeanors of DUI driving under the influence of alcohol, underage alcohol possession/purchase of alcohol, and improper/erratic lane change, according to TMZ.
“Ariana was involved in a minor fender bender. When police arrived on scene, the investigating officer immediately initiated an investigation for DUI,” her attorney, Justin Spizman, told the outlet. “Despite Ariana’s constant invocation that she was upset and anxious from the minor accident, the officer incorrectly concluded she was impaired by alcohol. That was not the case. She wholly denies these allegations and intends to fight these charges because she is not guilty of them.”
No other details about the car accident were released other than that her on-again-off-again boyfriend, Hudson McLeroy, was also in the car. He is facing charges of DUI, furnishing/purchasing alcohol under 21, and violating his driving permit.
Ariana was processed under her mother’s maiden name, Zolciak, and not her adopted father’s name. Kroy Biermann adopted Ariana and her sister Brielle back in 2013.
Both Ariana and Hudson were released on bond that same day.
