Kyrie Irving is once again slamming racists and bigots.

During a recent stream, he expressed his frustration with racism, reflecting on his personal experiences.

“Growing up in this society, just because you have this different skin tone, you have different rules to abide by — or you can’t be proud of your history because of skin tone, because people really got killed because of [it],” he said. “Do you realize how stupid that is? You know how ignorant you’ve gotta be to put somebody in a tree and hang them because they’re black? That’s probably the dumbest s**t I’ve ever heard to be honest with you.”

Irving went on to discuss the challenges he faces, emphasizing the ignorance behind racial prejudice. “You can judge me when I’m on a basketball court and say nasty things,” he continued. “People have always said nasty things to me before. You don’t even f**king know who I am. I stand up for humanity for being a coexisting community where race, culture, class, and religion are not always at the forefront of everything we do.”

Previously, Irving has spoken about racism in sports, notably in Boston. In 2021, he remarked, “It’s unfortunate that sports has come to a lot of this kind of crossroads… underlying racism… treating people like they’re in a human zoo.” He also criticized entitled fans, stating, “We’re not at the theater, we’re not throwing tomatoes… it’s a reflection on us as a whole.”
