On Thursday, 50 Cent announced the premiere date for the highly anticipated return of his hit series, “Power.” But, ahead of the announcement, Baller Alert caught up with the show’s co-star, La La Anthony, to get a few extra details about the forthcoming season.
Although, the actress remained tightlipped about the show, she did say it’s “going to be the most incredible season ever.” Anthony also offered a few details about her own project, which is in development at Starz, in collaboration with 50 Cent and his G-Unit Productions.
“We optioned this book that I love called ‘Intercepted,’ 50 loved it too, so now, we’re in the process of turning the book into some great tv,” Anthony said. “I love the story, it’s kind of like the dark world behind sports and some of the crazy stuff that happens. So I know a little bit about that.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Anthony also opened up about staying in her boss’ good graces, considering his history with social media beefs.
“Me and 50 been friends for years, I’m on ‘Power’ obviously, he’s the executive producer, but I known him from way back in the day,” Anthony said, later adding that she’s on his good side, where she’d like to remain. “I’m on his good side I want to stay there.”
