Lamar Odom seems to be having some money issues, with a recently filed eviction now hanging over his head.
The former NBA star, 45, has been ordered to vacate his Studio City rental after allegedly failing to pay $45,000 in back rent. According to court documents, Odom entered into an oral month-to-month rental agreement with Executive Recovery Group, Inc. in December 2024, agreeing to pay $15,000 per month. However, he reportedly failed to pay rent for January through March 2025.
The landlord issued a three-day notice to pay or quit on March 11th, stating, “If you fail to perform or otherwise comply, Landlord declares the forfeiture of the lease or rental agreement under which you occupy said premises.” The notice was also mailed to Odom.
With no response from Odom, the court ruled in favor of Executive Recovery Group on April 28th, granting them possession of the property and ordering Odom to vacate. The landlord is also seeking attorney fees and damages.
This property was previously leased by the late rapper Mac Miller, who filmed his MTV series there. Odom, who has faced personal challenges since his near-fatal overdose in 2015, has been working on his recovery and launched Odom Wellness Treatment Centers to help others struggling with addiction. Odom recently unveiled his $ODOM coin, though he was booed while introducing the venture at Trump’s crypto party just days ago.
