Latto Says She’s “Open” to Rekindling with Nicki Minaj After Nasty Feud [Video]

Latto appeared on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” with Andy Cohen Sunday night and opened up about her reconciliation with Ice Spice as well as the possibility of repairing her relationship with Nicki Minaj.

Joining Gizelle Bryant on the show, Latto was asked what Cohen called “the number one question” trending online.

“Love seeing you and Ice Spice make peace. How did it happen, and will you be able to work things out with Nicki Minaj, too?” Cohen asked.

Latto laughed before answering, tackling the questions one at a time.

“Okay, one at a time. First one, girls, you know we just… her team reached out to my team… we figured it out. At first, I was like mmh, but then I was like hmm,” she said, explaining how the truce with Ice Spice came together.

The reconciliation has already paid off, as the two recently released their new song and music video, “Gyatt.”

When asked about the possibility of ending her feud with Nicki, Latto left the door open.

“Yeah, I’m open to you know, rekindling with anybody,” she said. Cohen pressed further, asking, “Okay, you and Nicki… You gonna be back with Gizelle’s friend, Nicki?” Bryant quickly added, “Yes, we love Nicki. We do.” Latto responded simply, “I did, too.”

Her response is not confirmation of any full reconciliation with Nicki Minaj, but she also didn’t dismiss the possibility. The statement suggested that while she holds no grudges, she is choosing to keep her options open regarding past rivalries.

The feud between Latto and Nicki Minaj began in October 2022 after Minaj publicly criticized the Recording Academy for moving her hit “Super Freaky Girl” out of the rap category while leaving Latto’s “Big Energy” in the category.
