Laura Govan is not holding back after Gilbert Arenas claimed he paid her $244,000 a month in child support during an interview with Evelyn Lozada.
The former NBA star made the statement while speaking on the “Drop the Lo’ podcast” on Wednesday, but Govan quickly refuted the numbers and called out both Arenas and Lozada.
Taking to Instagram, Govan broke down the reality of the situation. “It was more like 244 – D O L L A R S with NO added zeros,” she wrote, making it clear that Arenas’ claim was wildly exaggerated. She did not stop there, also taking a direct shot at Arenas for his alleged past behavior. “Here’s a truth! Every chick corny Gil has interviewed with. He has SLEPT WITH! Fun facts… GOOFY AN,” she added, highlighting her frustration with the former three-time All-Star.
Govan also pleaded with Arenas to focus on their children instead of continuing the public dispute. “You better leave me alone, bro, I got real facts! You should be worrying about our children instead of all the lies you tell! I’m real F’n sick of you and your storytelling… Now go run tell that,” she wrote. Her words made it clear that she is done entertaining false narratives and wants the conversation to center around the children, not gossip.
The reality star did not spare Lozada either. She called out Lozada with a scathing message that mixed humor and sharp criticism.
“It’s kind of funny how this lady dun ran thru every big three but got so much to say about me! Let’s see… R&B, MLB, NBA NFL R, RAP ABC NBC, BET MTV, HOV, GOTTA STD, MAYBE EVEN HIV, All in the back of a car, but got the audacity to ask about me! Let’s keep it cute GOOFY,” Govan wrote, illustrating her anger and disbelief over Lozada’s commentary.
This latest exchange continues the ongoing public drama between Govan, Arenas, and Lozada, with each star sharing their version of events. While Arenas tries to defend his image, Govan has made it clear she will not let inflated claims and unsolicited commentary slide.
