After three months in Lithuania, Lavar Ball has decided to bring his sons, LaMelo and LiAngelo, back home to Los Angeles in the wake of a slew of on-court and off-court issues.

As shown in “Ball in the Family,” Ball had been having issues with the Lithuania coach over his refusal to play his sons together, or in Melo’s case, play him at all. In fact, just hours before Ball’s decision to pull the plug on the Ball boys’ pro career, both were ruled out for Wednesday’s matchup against Siauliai in the Lithuanian league.

But, with the coach’s inconsistency and the team’s losing record, Ball felt it was best to end the business relationship.

“We’re not going to waste our time no more,” Lavar said. While Ball loved Lithuania, the people and the BC Vytautas organization, itself, he said, “I just didn’t get along with the coach.”

Now, it’s up to Ball to come up with a new plan for his boys since his original two-year plan for Melo in Lithuania is now off the table.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“Coach ruined everything and he’ll have to pay the price that Melo is not coming back,” he said.

But, for Gelo, the plan hasn’t changed much, as he has already declared for the forthcoming draft. In the meantime, the Ball family is set to return to the states early next week.
