Lil Baby is making it clear—he is not in federal custody.
After fans began speculating that the Atlanta rapper had been arrested, he took to Instagram to set the record straight.
“Thanks for all the concerns. Please don’t be misinformed by fake news!! I’m overly good.”
The rumor likely started after a press conference from the Atlanta Police Department, Homicide Commander Maj. Ralph Woolfolk linked the deaths of two 13-year-old boys to a Lil Baby music video shoot last year. While Baby, was not involved in the shooting nor responsible for what happened to the teens, Woolfolk called the video shoot a “cowardly act,” claiming Lil Baby filmed in an area he “knew he should not have been.”
Despite the controversy, Lil Baby is keeping his focus on the WHAM World Tour and new music.
