Fans who miss hearing Gunna and Lil Baby on songs together will have to live with the classics, as it’s unlikely the pair will ever record together again.

In a recent clip from “Out Of Context,” Lil Baby revealed to Charlamagne Tha God that he and Gunna are no longer friends., despite being frequently collaborators at the start of their careers.

“We don’t got no relationship,” Lil Baby said when asked about their connection.

Responding to speculation that he relies on Gunna for hits, he added, “The internet will say anything. Do you know how many hits I got? So, that don’t even make sense.”

The 30-year-old also made it clear that getting in the studio with his peer is off the table, even if his close friend and Gunna’s label head, Young Thug, asked.

“I don’t see that happening,” he declared.

The duo previously worked on the 2018 “Drip Harder” mixtape, which spawned the Diamond-certified hit “Drip Too Hard.”

During another recent conversation on Lil Yachty’s “A Safe Place” podcast, Lil Baby hinted at being more selective with collaborations, particularly with those accused of snitching. While he didn’t say any names, Gunna has long been accused of telling on Thug to help his own case.

“It boils down to what we rapping about… We can’t rap about that if you did that… If I was making Christmas music, then I don’t give a damn what you did,” he explained.

The tension stems from Gunna’s 2022 Alford plea in the YSL RICO case. Though he maintained his innocence, the plea fueled backlash in the hip-hop community. On his 2023 track “Bread & Butter,” Gunna appeared to address critics, rapping, “You switched on me when you know you in business with a rat.”
