Prosecutors Seize Unreleased Lil Durk Track They Say Justifies Keeping Him Behind Bars

Lil Durk took to Instagram on Sunday to address recent rumors that a shooting occurred during his Smurkchella concert the night before.

Durk posted a photo of himself performing at the Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona, with the caption, “They make up rumors when you lit last night I got paid 250k check the pics p.s we all got plaques together @poohshiesty @coileray.”

TMZ initially reported that Durkio’s concert with a crowd of about 10,000 was cut short when gunfire allegedly erupted. The crowd dispersed, and some injuries were reported. Phoenix Police said that reports that a bullet grazed a woman were false. The injuries sustained were non-life-threatening and stemmed from everyone trying to flee the venue.

It was later updated that according to the organizers of the event, there was no gunfire during the concert. Instead, the noise the crowd thought was gunshots was actually a dropped microphone that made a loud noise.

Durk posted a screenshot of an Akademiks post about the incident to his Instagram stories to call out the false rumors directly. “Stop trying to stop the voice and make up bad rumors,” he wrote.
