Lil Durk could be getting a bond.
A judge in L.A. just agreed to take another look at Lil Durk’s jail status in the murder-for-hire case linked to the 2022 killing of Lul Pabb, the cousin of rapper Quando Rondo.
Durk’s been locked up since October 2024. Feds say he helped fund the ambush that left Lul Pabb dead, calling it revenge for King Von’s 2020 murder.
His lawyers say the case is weak. They claim prosecutors are leaning on rap lyrics and fan-made videos that Durk had nothing to do with.
One song at the center of it all, Wonderful Wayne & Jackie Boy, which was recorded months before the shooting even happened.
Now, Durk’s team is back with a new bond offer. They’re putting up $900,000 in real estate, $1 million in cash from Alamo Records, and $150,000 from a business associate. They’re also promising round-the-clock private security, electronic ankle monitoring, and strict supervision to keep him in line.
They’re hoping it’s enough to get him out while he fights the case.
Last time, the judge said he was too much of a risk. But now, another shot’s coming on May 8.
Durk is still pleading not guilty but he’s facing life in prison or the death penalty if convicted.
But if this bond hits… Durk might be touching grass real soon.
