Lil Durk is making moves behind bars, and not just musically.
According to his father, Dontay Banks, Durk has been using his time in jail to help others by converting fellow inmates to Islam.

In a recent interview with The Breakfast Club, Banks shared how Durk’s faith has kept him grounded. “What Allah is doing for us right now, building us to be a better man, is greater than what they trying to do to us and trying to tear us down,” Banks said.
He added, “When [Durk] came in there, there was like four Muslims on the block. He said now it’s 17 Muslims on the block, so he in there converting.”
Despite facing serious charges in a murder-for-hire case, Durk’s been keeping a positive influence.
He pleaded not guilty, and his legal team is working on having the case dismissed. His trial, originally delayed, is set to begin on October 14.
