Laker legend Magic Johnson is heading to Las Vegas to receive the key to the city and he plans to top it off with a 2-day community event, which includes a concert.
“Magic Johnson Showtime Pop-Up Concert” plans to have several big acts, including a performance from Snoop Dogg and sources say Will Smith recorded a congrats video that’s set to air during the show, according to TMZ.
But what makes this event even more special, MGM Properties is giving away 4,000 tickets for the event over the next few days and some tickets will go to the survivors of last year’s mass shooting. TMZ also reports Magic has a special surprise for the guests as well.
The event is scheduled to start Tuesday, October 9th at Mandalay Bay Beach. Plus on October 10th, Lebron James and the Lakers will play the Warriors at the nearby T-Mobile arena.
