Last week, Khloe Kardashian’s best friend, Malika Haqq, announced her pregnancy in an Instagram ad, sharing a photo of herself with a positive pregnancy test. In the post, the actress wrote, “I listen to my heart, and I’ve decided that the rest of my life will be the best of my life.”
“I didn’t know when, I just knew one day. God said it’s my turn, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the little spirit that grows inside of me. I am yours, baby, and you are mine,” she added.
The pregnancy came as a surprise to some fans, as most were under the impression that she and her on-and-off boyfriend, OT Genasis, had split. But, just a few days later, new reports claimed to confirm that the father of Haqq’s first child was, in fact, her ex, OT.
Despite the report, Haqq is choosing to keep the identity of her child’s father under wraps, telling PEOPLE, “I’m leaving him out of this, just for now.”
“This is all me,” she added, before confirming that she will “absolutely” share it eventually. “My baby was made in love and that is something that will unfold at a later date.”
“We’re both very happy,” she said.
