Two Nine Trey Blood gang members have been convicted in Tekashi69’s kidnapping case, thanks largely in part to the fact that the rainbow-haired rapper sang like a canary on the stand.

The verdict was read on Thursday in a New York City courtroom, convicting Anthony “Harv” Ellison of kidnapping in aid of racketeering, racketeering conspiracy and maiming, and assault with a dangerous weapon in aid of racketeering, while Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack was convicted of racketeering conspiracy and narcotics trafficking.

However, both Ellison and Mack were acquitted of using guns in their crimes, according to NY Daily News.

The trial went on for two long weeks, with Tekashi 6ix9ine providing crucial information for three-days straight, implicating several gang members and fellow rappers in the process. He also identified Ellison and Mack as suspects in the case, by literally pointing them out in court.

Although the defendants maintained 6ix9ine staged the kidnapping for sympathy and more success, prosecutors played dashcam footage in court, which showed the two dragging him out of his own car, demanding money and more, which ultimately led to Thursday’s conviction.

But according to the publication, Mack’s attorney vowed to appeal, while Ellison’s legal counsel says his client is considering the option.
